Project Overview
To help users build lasting wellness habits, our team proposed the Healthy Habits Hub — a platform that empowers individuals to track health data, set personal goals, and stay motivated through community and consistency. The idea was born from an earlier wearables project and evolved into a more holistic vision for long-term physical and mental well-being.
The Problem
There’s no centralized place for users to view their health progress across devices or challenges. While wearables collect valuable data, the information lives in silos — limiting users’ ability to see the bigger picture and stay engaged with wellness goals.
As the UI Designer
Helped evolve the concept from a device sync tool into a full wellness platform
Defined key features and mapped the user journey
Created the UI, dashboard layouts, and club concepts in Figma
Presented the proposal to business stakeholders in a prototype demo
Framed the platform’s potential to drive long-term engagement and healthier outcomes
Solutions & Outcomes
Health data is fragmented across devices

Outcome
While the proposal wasn’t picked up for development, it directly inspired the concept behind the National Nutrition Month Challenge
As a team that normally focuses on the Global Wellness Challenge, this project proposal sparked new conversations within the engineering team about how the platform could evolve beyond its original intentions
Gave me hands-on experience in idea pitching — shaping a vision from scratch and communicating it through design
Users lose motivation after short challenges
Introduced habit-building features and consistency rewards to encourage long-term wellness
No visibility into Cigna benefits or health content
Lack of social motivation
Embedded wellness news and benefits info tailored to each user’s goals
Added community-based progress comparisons and an exclusive club to foster positive peer engagement
Created a unified dashboard that surfaces holistic progress in one view
Reflection
This proposal was a chance to think beyond short-term campaigns and imagine how we could support users on their wellness journey year-round. It challenged me to design not just for usability, but for behavior change — creating systems that reward consistency and make health feel achievable instead of an endless task. I enjoyed blending product thinking with visual storytelling to help the business see what was possible.
"Thank you so much for all your hard work getting our ideas down visually! You took our concept and turned it into something real that helped the whole team get aligned and excited about the vision."
