March Nutrition Month Challenge
Each March, Cigna runs a daily Instagram trivia for National Nutrition Month. To boost engagement beyond the usual format, our team was asked to reimagine the experience — transforming our existing GWC platform into a new, nutrition-focused challenge. The result was an external-facing product that attracted over 4,500 sign-ups, expanding reach beyond internal audiences and turning a passive campaign into an interactive, high-engagement experience.
My Biggest Project:
Global Wellness Challenge 2.0
Since 2015, Cigna’s Global Wellness Challenge has encouraged employees and their families to build healthy habits through summer movement. In 2022, I was tasked with redesigning the external-facing platform to improve usability and reenergize the experience. The redesign supported over 30,000 users and brought in 3,500 new participants compared to the previous year, helping to boost engagement through clear UX, mobile accessibility, and playful visual design.

Data Capture 2.0
To reduce costs and scale global operations, Cigna needed a better way to ingest claims data. I was brought in to redesign their manual data entry process — transforming it into a new, validation-first workflow with auto-populated forms and integrated document viewing.
Legacy Global Wellness Challenge Status Dashboard
To proactively identify and address potential issues during the Global Wellness Challenge, our team developed a real-time status dashboard. It tracked key metrics such as participant count, team count, replica lag, and other technical indicators to ensure a smooth and reliable user experience throughout the challenge season.

One Pager Documenation
As projects grow and involve more stakeholders across engineering, business, and leadership, alignment becomes more challenging. The GWC one-pager proved effective in keeping teams informed and aligned, prompting a broader rollout. At the director’s request, I began developing one-pagers for our team and adjacent teams to streamline communication and ensure clarity across the board.
